Waldorf Apple Salad

Enjoy a delicious Waldorf salad with a Southern Oregon twist, courtesy of Chef Tim Keller. This classic favorite was originally created in the 19th century on the East Coast, so we've made this apple salad recipe our own by adding some special Oregon-grown ingredients.

Ingredients

For dressing

  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp Southern Oregon honey
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 4 mint leaves
  • Pinch salt and pepper

For salad

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the dressing together
  2. Chill for at least 1 hour
  3. Prepare the ingredients for the salad
  4. Mix in dressing
  5. Garnish with butter lettuce and serve
